| About Us. The American Academy of Indian Classical Music (AAICM) was founded in 2006 to promote the study and appreciation of Indian Classical Music in America. Its main objective is to provide an unsurpassed level of instruction in Indian Classical Music under the traditional Indian "Guru-Shishya" tradition. Another key objective of AAICM is to present Concerts and seminars that will help music lovers develop a greater understanding of the beauty of this ancient art form. Spearheading this venture is the great maestro, Pandit Vijay Kichlu, who brings decades of experience as a practitioner and as an educator in Indian Classical music. |

| AAICM is grateful for invaluable and continuing support of The ARCH Worldwide, a non-profit organization committed to creativity-based and multicultural education. Were it not for their support, we would not be able to present these wonderful artists. |
