Vidushi Subhra Guha
Subhra Guha, a competent exponent of the Agra Gharana, is today accepted as one of India's leading female singers. Subhra possesses an extremely melodious voice, full of strength, beauty and grace. She has been trained by Shri Satish Bhowmik, Pandit Sunil Bose, Pandit K.G. Ginde, Pandit D.T Joshi, and Pandit Vijay Kichlu. She has intelligently maintained the balance between the two streams of Khyal and Thumri, keeping intact all the academic excellance with measured blend of aesthetics and musical semantics. Open throated 'akar', her taans and bol-bants are extraordinary features of her gayaki. Her command over laya is outstanding. She is a regular artiste of the A.I.R and television and has given memorable performances all over India and abroad.

Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan
Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan is a distinguished exponent of the Kirana lineage of North Indian vocal music, and is related by blood to many of the most distinguished luminaries in that tradition. He displays great invention and vocal agility in his recitals. He is a walking encyclopedia of traditional compositions ("bandishes") and has an erudite concept of ragas and a keen understanding of the various aspects of the Kirana style, which emphasizes numerous creative permutations of the notes of the raga. An A-grade artiste of All India Radio, he has performed in numerous festival and conferences all over India and abroad. Khan Sahib is currently a senior vocal guru with the prestigious Sangeet Research Academy in Calcutta, passing on his musical heritage to new generations of musicians.

Pandit Vijay Kumar Kichlu
Pandit Vijay Kichlu is an exponent of the Agra Gharana, and was groomed by the senior Dagar Brothers and Ustad Latafat Khan. A deeply learned musician, Pandit Kichlu later served as the Executive Director of the prestigious Sangeet (Music) Research Academy (SRA) in Kolkata, India, where he nurtured and guided many of the most prominent musicians in recent generations. Pandit Kichlu was the recipient of the 2007 Natak Akademi award for Hindustani Classical Music, the most prestigious award in this field.

Sanjoy Banerjee
As an accomplished exponent of Indian Classical Music, Sanjoy Banerjee, vocalist, has stepped masterfully into this field, and with his sonorous and unwavering voice he has enthralled audiences at home and abroad, performing in London, Germany and Bangladesh, to great acclaim. As a scholar at the Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata, Sanjoyda's gurus were the late Pandit A. Kanan of the Kirana gharana and Sangeet Vidushi Malibika Kanan. He has received many awards and honors including: the Surmani Award from Sur-Sringar Samsad, Mumbai; a National Scholarship from the Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Govt. of India in 1993; and a Junior Fellowship from the Department of Culture, Govt. of India in 1996. He stood first in the All India Radio Music Competition in 1992. He is also a successful Music Director, and was invited to the UK to work on the prestigious Three Cities Project "Kahani Diwali" involving cities of Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. There he won the hearts of the audiences, and the special appreciation from the mayors of those three cities.

Sanjukta Biswas
Sanjukta Biswas is a disciple of Vidushi Subhra Guha of the Agra gharana, living and studying with her in a true "guru shishya parampara." After graduating with honors in vocal music from Rabindra Bharti University in Kolkata, she went on to be a scholar at the Sangeet Research Academy (SRA). She has performed from many prestigious platforms in India. Sanjukta is an approved artist of AIR and Doordarshan, Kolkata. Sanjukta sings thumri, dadra, kajri in the perfect style of "poorab ang". Her strong tuneful voice with perfect aakar is remarkably suited for khayal gaikee. Her rendering shows her vidya, devoted learning, raagdari and rich Agra gaikee clearly, blended with her own melodious and effective voice.

Michael Harrison
Groundbreaking composer/pianist/vocalist Michael Harrison has developed one of the most distinctive musical styles of our time. Through his expertise in "just intonation" tuning systems and North Indian ragas, his deep understanding of Indian and Middle Eastern rhythms and his innate gift for melodic composition, he has created a revolutionary new sound for the piano. For the past 25 years, Harrison has performed his music throughout the U.S. and Europe. His latest work, Revelation: For Harmonically Tuned Piano, is scheduled for release on Cantaloupe Records in 2007. As a disciple of Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan and the late Pandit Pran Nath of the Kirana Gharana, and a protégé of the esteemed American composers, La Monte Young and Terry Riley, Harrison brings a unique perspective to teaching raga to Western musicians. Harrison is the President of the American Academy of Indian Classical Music.

Sabina Islam
Having studied music from the age of five under various teachers, Sabina Islam came to the Sangeet Research Academy as a scholar in 1997, studying first with Pandit Sunil Bose of the Agra gharana (lineage) and then with her guru, Vidushi Subhra Guha, with whom she now lives in Kolkata in traditional "guru-shishya parampara" (guru-disciple relationship). In addition to Khyal, Sabina also sings Light Classical music like Thumri, Dadra and Tappa, which she has inherited from her guru in the perfect style of "Poorab Ang." Her style of rendition displays a mellow blending with vidya, devoted learning, raagdari and rich gaikee that is both creative and aesthetically appealing. Sabina has performed from many prestigious platforms in India and received numerous awards.
